Thermowells

  • We manufacture all types of thermowells.

  • These are of two types - Barstock and fabricated

  • Barstock thermowells are derived by machining the stainless steel rods. There is no welding or seam involved.

  • Barstock thermowells are used for high pressure applications where safety cannot be compromised.

  • Fabricated thermowells are low cost and demand low pressure applications.

  • These are fabricated by welding threaded parts to the SS tubes.

  • Thermowell type and material is selected as per application.

  • Materials normally used are SS 304/ SS316/SS310/SS446/ Inconel.

Process Connections

  • Process connections are used to install the sensors into the media.

  • Thermocouples cannot be directly inserted as they may tumble or lose contact with the media.

  • They act as guide and provide mechanical stability to the sensors.

  • Process connections are of different types and sizes.

  • BSP / NPT / metric are standard types used.

  • 1/2", 1/4", 1/8", 3/8" thread sizes can be supplied as per requirement.

  • Some connections are fixed or welded to the temperature sensors.

  • Some are movable or adjustable and can be fixed at desired length.

Flanges

  • Flanges with insertion holes as per sensor diameter are manufactured as per demand.

  • Flanges have similar application as process connections.

  • The flanges are fixed type or movable. A movable flange moves alog the length of the thermocouple and can be fixed with a screw.

  • Flange dimensions are defined by the application and thermocouple dimensions.

  • Standard flanges in SS or aluminium or MS can be supplied as per requirement.

  • Round, ellipse, square , rectangular are different shapes that can be supplied.

Mapping and validation is a process that is carried out to validate the following using NABL equipments.

RTD Cables

  • We supply RTD cables with various sizes.

  • These are corrosion resistant and excellent quality cables.

  • They are used to transfer electrical signal from source to destination.

  • Selection of proper sheath defines the life of the cable.

  • Thermocouple cables come in 2 forms.

  • Original conductor and compensating grade.

  • Vaiants available : J, K, and T type

  • Original conductor cables are used to manufacture thermocouple.

  • Compensating grade cables are used for instrumentation connections.

  • Sizes availabe : 1/22, 1/24, 3/22,3/24,7/24, 7/36

  • Insulation : Tef/tef, tef/tef/SS, fibre glass/ fibreglass, tef/tef,fg

PVC Thermocouple Cables

  • The cable is double PVC coated and used for general applications.

  • It is compensating type cable. Normally used in heat treatment and heavy duty applications.

  • Rugged and heavy duty.

  • Sizes availabe - 1/22, 1/24, 3/22,3/24

  • Insulation- PVC/ PVC

Multicore Compensating Cables

  • These are multicore cables used in instrumentation applications.

  • Multiple sensor connectivity in datalogging and SCADA applications is carried out using these cables.

  • These are shielded and non shielded depending upon the application.

  • Shielded cable are used in noise sensitive and harsh enviornments.

  • Sizes availabe - 1/22, 1/24, 3/22,3/24,7/24, 7/36
